| Anna's Song A Poem by Sybil Vaughn May 3, 2007 in honor of Anna's Birthday |
My sweet little Indy Anna! You brought joy and elation resembling Vana,* Now you’re my little fur-angel. Are you sitting near the star Rigel? My sweet little Indy Anna! Your presence was sustaining like manna, You were mommy’s little shadow As we ran across the meadow. My sweet little Indy Anna! Do you now run across the Bridge’s savannah With Christi who went before you came? You had to go, your health to reclaim. My sweet little Indy Anna! Your name invokes images of adoration atop Amana.** Who would not love you, precious little one? I feel so sad that you’ve gone. Sweet little Indy Anna! Last year on 8th of May you went to Rainbow’s nirvana. Now instead of you, I have your little son. Til we see you again you’re in my mind ever and anon. |
