February 2008 The winter of 2007/2008 has been very harsh. As far as cold temperatures and snowfall, I think it's the worst I've seen since I've been living in Illinois. Although I dislike snow, I will have to admit that sometimes it does make pretty pictures. This particular day, we had lots of big wet snowflakes, the kind that stick to everything.

Blackberry tree that covers my shade garden in the summertime.
Patio table and chairs on deck under the vinyl cover and covered with snow.
Tree across the street.
Just outside the garage. Notice the big flakes falling.
Tree in front yard.
Another shot of Briarcliff Rd.
Front of house.
Summit Lane. Can you tell where the street is?
Briarcliff Rd. At least the main roads have been mostly cleared.
Janes Ave. - just before the Prominade Shopping Center.
