SILKY TERRIER
CELEBRATION!
Hosted by Misty and Anna
Since our mommy is part Irish,
that means we are part Irish too,
so we invitied Silky cousins over
for a St. Patrick's Day bash!

Hi there everyone, come on in.
Glad to see ya.  How ya been?
Will you play?  Keep up if you can.
Fair warning though mortal man,
Our energy knows next to no end,
Can't catch us running in the wind!
Fields and forests, friendly people, mountains, and streams,
Beautiful Ireland is much like our Mommy's South it seems,
Besides all this, Erin has grand castles to explore and behold,
She has many interesting places that are enormously old.

Hi-Ha, Hi-He, Hi-Ho,
A-dancing we will go,
Swinging left and right,
All Silkies in our sight!
We like being Irish and dancing a jig,
Doesn't matter if we're not so big.
Silkies love to have excitement and fun
Running thru green fields under the sun.

Background Music:
"The Banks of the Roses"

Lyrics:
On the Banks of the Roses my love and I sat down
And I took out my fiddle for to play my love a tune
In the middle of the tune oh she smiled and she said
Oh my Johnny lovely Johnny don’t you leave me

When I was a young lad I heard my father say
That he’d rather see me dead and be buried in the clay
Sooner than be married and a rovin’ runaway
By the lovely sweet Banks of the Roses

Well now I am a runaway and sure I’ll let them know
That I can take the bottle or can leave it alone
And if her Daddy doesn’t like me he can keep his daughter home
And young Johnny will go rovin’ with another

And if ever I get married t’will be in the month of May
When the leaves they are green and the meadows they are gay
And me and my true love will sit and sport and play
By the lovely sweet Banks of the Roses
