We moved from the Chicago suburb of Bolingbrook, IL to Raleigh, NC in early November, 2008.  One of the main
reasons for the move was to escape the harsh Illinois winters.  Chicago is having one of the worst winters ever and
I am so thankful I am not there to experience it.  However it does ocassionally snow in Raleigh also.  We had seven
inches of snow on January 20, 2009; that's the most snow Raleigh has seen in a long time.  Maybe it followed us
here!   I can handle this because it doesn't happen often and it goes away within a couple of days.
Look What Happened in Raleigh!

The following day the snow is still with
us.

They are thinking "What in the world
happened here!  Didn't we leave this
stuff behind in Illinois?"
The snowstorm happened on Tuesday.
By Friday it was all gone and we were enjoying temperatures of 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
