Military
Beaches and other Ocean-Front Property
Walanae Army Beach
The military has some
excellent beaches
that are not open to
the general public.
Restaurant at Hickam Air Force
Base where we had lunch one
day.  If you look hard you can
see planes on the landing
strip at Honolulu Airport.
Bellows Air Force Beach.
Here military families can
rent cabins to stay at the
beach for a few days.

I am wading just so I
can say I put my feet
in the Pacific Ocean.
I don't swim.

Note the white sand.

Sunday morning breakfast on
the channel at Hickam Air Force
Base.
Isn't this a gorgeous place to
have breakfast?

We were joined by two
other ladies from church.
We had just attended
the service at the
chapel on Pearl Harbor.
Ships have to go through
Hickam Channel to get
to Pearl Harbor and vice versa.

Military families say goodbye to
their sailors at Pearl Harbor,
then drive around to
the channel at Hickam to
wave as the men and
women go out to sea.
