Because this was my first Specialty, I do not know very many people and meeting so
many people in such a short time did not make it easy for me to remember names or
to put names with faces.  I had help from other attendees/STCA members but still
came up a few short.  If you see any misspellings, or incorrect names or facts, or
know the people where names are missing, please let me know and I will change.

I was priviledged to meet
and spend a little time with
so many nice people and
hope to see them again.
Frances Garrison and
Norma Baugh both

showed everyone that they
do everything big in Texas!
They put on quite a show!

Silky Terrier Club of America Annual Specialty, May 24 - 28, 2004, Houston, TX
It was a fun time of getting to know cyber friends, enjoying all the beautiful little Silkies who came in for the national competition, watching the
shows and understanding what was going on (thanks to Millie), learning from the seminars, indulging in wonderful Southern food, and being
pampered by Texan friendliness and charm in a luxury hotel.
I was eager to meet Jerry and Sandy
McKenzie because two of their Silkies are
related to my dogs.

I have been admiring and enjoying Joan's web
pages; she is so talented.
It was a pleasure to meet such a nice lady.
Right: Me with a six week old puppy
(belongs to John and Nancy Triplett
from Plantation, FL) and below are
two nine day old puppies (belong to
Delores Saling of San Antonio, TX).
Aren't these babies just adorable?
The little 6 week old would have
easily fit in my bag, what a
temptation, lol.
John and Nancy Triplett's furkids
