Hello, I am Anna. This is me with the Easter Bunny at Petsmart in 2004.

Silky Terriers Celebrate Easter Too by Sybil Vaughn We can jump through Mommy's pretty pastel daffodils in early spring; And we like to run through our back yard now that the day is offering Some warmer temperatures and sunlit blue skies with fluffy clouds. The snow has gone so we can patrol and bark at neighbors' crowds. Our Mommy gets our leashes and takes us for walkies down to the park Where we guard against dogs of all sizes and ducks in a lake that's dark. We have so much fun investigating the sights and smells along the way Then we go back to our familiar house where our tired little legs can lay. Easter came early this year; time passed by and we missed the picture, So Mommy with her camera tried to make us sit still with a holiday mixture. Doesn't she know we can't stay on a chair by stuffed bunny and basket? We Silkies have a reputation to maintain so we check out each trinket. Mommy says Jesus made animals and people so He loves you and us; He watches and protects all so don't be afraid and don't make a fuss. He gave us Mommy to feed us and to play and sleep like we want to do; That's why we Silky Terriers believe and we can celebrate Easter too. |

You know how I feel about sharing the bed, even with Misty. You don't expect me to sit near that floppy-eared thing do you?

My Adoring Fan Club by Sybil Vaughn When I finally arrive home from my fast-paced journey at night to stay So tired and weary from challenges and stress and cares of the day, Whose exhilarated leap greets me with animated and unfeigned joy, With a boundless love and trust that defies reason, the real McCoy? I suppose it could be considered quite vain to desire such adoration, However there's no denying they do lift my spirits when in depression. Although I may see many trials in life and disappointments will start, Each fan club member abhors evil and does posses a virtuous heart. Since It seems their only purpose in life is to please me and to love, What a precious presence that gives me delight, a gift from above! People say "they are only dogs, don't treat them like they're human," I say "they give me their all, that's more than any man or woman." It's true they are like children, their care demands time and money, What they give in return is priceless, their outlook is always sunny. These cute little bundles of energy have captured my heart I'm told, These Silky Terriers have made me their fan club, lo and behold! |

Happy Spring! by Sybil Vaughn Spring is here now, that we can tell, the signs surely abound; Huge flocks of birds returned, so the day breaks with sound. New days bring warmer temps and the rain snow replaces, The trees are awakening, tulips begin to show their faces. My little Silky fur girls can run around in the fenced yard, They're caught up in the excitement, a picturesque card. Misty chases the many rabbits who must try to run away, While Anna is after squirrels swinging in the trees today. My neighbors venture out of hibernation with cabin fever, The harsh northern winter had seemed to linger forever. Visions of barbecue grills and pools dance in our heads, Time to enjoy the fresh air and to prepare the flower beds. This time of rebirth is a most excellent season of the year, Which leads to thoughts so wondrous they cause us to cheer. We can go out for walks and dance and sing a glad song, Happy Spring to you and to all people and pets you belong!

Mom, this is NOT my bed and I really don't like that bunny thing.
Picture - Taking Attempts - 2005
Just Anna - no bunny, but he is on the edge of the bed and she is glaring at him.

Can you find the doggie in the chair?
Do I get to pull the stuffing out of the bunny when you are done?
Mom, how long have you known me? You know I can't sit still; that's why you keep getting blurs.
